Return/Cancellation Policy

This document sets forth the terms and conditions governing the issuance of refunds and the cancellation of orders by The Packaging World (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) to its clients. 

Section 1: Returns and Refunds

All products furnished by The Packaging World are manufactured strictly according to the guidelines, specifications, and instructions provided by the client. As such, products are deemed custom goods and are generally non-returnable and non-refundable, except as detailed in this Section. 

The client is entitled to report any material non-conformity, defect, or reservation regarding the delivered packaging order. Any such reservation or claim must be formally submitted to The Packaging World within a strict period of 24 hours following the time of receiving the packaging order by the client. Failure to submit notification within this stipulated period shall constitute an irrevocable acceptance of the goods as delivered and a waiver of all claims. 

The Packaging World explicitly reserves the unqualified right, at its sole discretion, to initiate and conduct a full verification process pertaining to any alleged defect, material non-conformity, or reported reservation submitted by the client.  

Following the completion of such verification, The Packaging World shall hold the exclusive authority to issue a definitive declaration concerning the validity and confirmation of the alleged defects.  In the event that The Packaging World’s investigation confirms a material error or manufacturing non-conformity attributable directly to the Company’s processes, the sole and exclusive remedy available to the client shall be the re-manufacture (re-print) of the affected order. 

Section 2: Order Cancellation 

The Packaging World reserves the exclusive right to cancel an order at any point prior to the commencement of shipping. Once the ordered items have been tendered to the shipping firm for transit, the order shall be deemed irreversible. 

Cancellations may be permissible during the various stages of production; however, the imposition of a cancellation fee shall apply based on the production status at the time of the cancellation request.  

  • A minimum charge of 5% of the total order amount shall be levied to cover costs associated with payment processing fees and transactional charges after receiving payment, but designing has not commenced yet. 
  • The window for order cancellation is strictly limited to a period of four (4) hours following the approval of the final design. However, a cancellation fee will be charged, which shall be calculated as the greater of the following two amounts: (a) 20% of the total gross order value, or (b) the actual documented design and labor costs accrued by The Packaging World up to the precise moment of cancellation.  
  • While The Packaging World shall endeavor to effect a cancellation after the order has entered into printing, cancellation is not guaranteed due to the commitment of resources. If cancellation is successfully processed while the order is definitively within the printing process, a minimum of 50% of the total order amount shall be deducted to cover incurred all expenses and material costs. 
  • Once an order has reached in shipping, it is irrevocably deemed non-cancellable.
